Roger Petersen

is a Costa Rica native, born in Costa Rica but educated in the United States and Costa Rica. Roger is a member of both the Costa Rican Bar Association and the Florida Bar. He has been practicing law since 1992.

Roger Petersen is the author of The Legal Guide to Costa Rica which is one of the most auhtoritative legal information guides in English about Costa Rica. He has been a featured speaker at International Living events representing Costa Rica as well as events sponsored by the Miami Herald and Promed, the Costa Rica Medical Promotion Agency. He has been a contributor to the Coalition for Investment and Development of Costa Rica (CINDE) on attracting expats to retire, live and invest in Costa Rica. He focuses his practice on Real Estate Transactions, Company Law, Immigration and Wills and Estates.
